Originally this 12-day flow was created to honour the self during the festive season, however, these simple practices can be embraced all year round. Especially, when we crave a gentle return to self.

Day One
🍃Day One: Spending 5 mins in Nature🍃
Our first day is all about being present and taking in the natural wonder around you.
🌬️All you have to do is carve out 5 mins to immerse yourself in nature.
🌬️Close your eyes, take a deep inhale, exhale. Inhale, exhale, in and out.
🌬️Now open your eyes and observe the beauty around you.
🌬️Use all your senses to immerse yourself in the natural wonder.
This can have a HUGE and almost IMMEDIATE impact on your central nervous system, it promotes hormonal regulation, and mental clarity and connects you to the natural rhythms within you, and, around you.
So if you are the type to feel excessive stress, you are going to want to immerse yourself when you can in nature to:
🍃 Work wonders on your cortisol levels
🍃 Reduce the overload that your system is feeling
🍃 Become grounded
🍃 Stimulate serotonin to boost your mood

🤎Day Two: Turning a simple moment into a sacred ritual🤎
Today is all about creating space for simple, sacred ritual, here you pause to make your favorite drink - whether you are a coffee lover, matcha girlie, tea fanatic, or if it’s cacao you crave, choose what lights your heart up. We are pouring a heap of intention into this, so get ready to infuse with your beautiful energy.
All you have to do is:
☕ Slow Down: Leave the rush at the door and make your drink with care. Choose a cup that makes you feel special, and brew with presence. Notice the textures, colors, and aromas as you make it.
☕ Gratitude: As you stir, infuse your drink with gratitude—for the moment, for your body, and for the nourishment it provides.
☕ Savor: Take small, intentional sips, attuning to the flavors and sensations. Check in with your self, notice how you are really feeling.
☕Acknowledge: Thank yourself for this pause, knowing it is a moment of restoration and fuel for your internal battery.
This mindful moment gets to be one revolved around you, a time to center yourself and bring your energy back to the present moment. 🧘🏼♀️

Day Three
🩷Focused breath and affirmations to honor your needs🩷
Today is about using your breath to anchor the words you tell yourself, shifting the stories in your mind, and beginning to honor your needs.
All you have to do is:
💫Create Space: carve out a moment, even if it is just 5 minutes in your 24 hours. That is enough.
💫Connect to your breath. Inhale deeply through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Now go even more slowly and repeat this for a few cycles to ground yourself.
💫Affirm Your Needs. As you breathe, say these affirmations firmly and with confidence:
“I honor my needs and make space for myself.”
“It’s safe to slow down and nurture my well-being.”
“I deserve peace, presence, and joy this season.”
💫Reflect: Notice how your body feels after this practice. How did those words feel as you said them? Perhaps you might need to sit with them for a little longer, or perhaps it has already activated a relaxation response.

Day Four
🤎Movement to experience the joy of connecting with your body🤎
As a Cycle Mentor, I am ALWAYS going to guide you to move with what feels good for your body, so tune in to where you are in your cycle and go with the flow.
For example - and this will be different for all:
🩸Menstruation - Perhaps a more gentle and restorative movement is calling, tune in and go at your own pace
🌼Pre-Ovulation / Follicular - Perhaps dance is calling, something stretch and balance-based, swimming or walking
🌞Ovulation- Maybe, if you have the capacity, you might feel called to Insert something a little more upbeat and fast-paced
🍂Pre-Menstruum / Luteal - Is it strength-building or gentle yoga flow?
Movement is such a beautiful way to move through your feelings, integrate your emotions, release tension, and energise your body. It is such a powerful way to shift your energy and mood, especially when we choose something that aligns with the energy of our cycle.
Ready to try?
Firstly, pick a Movement that feels aligned
Then, tune in to your body and pay attention to how this movement feels
Finally, let go of any expectations and just sink into the experience. Don’t forget to express gratitude to yourself once you are done.
Movement is so damn supportive to your endocrine system which controls your hormone production, so it's essentially a powerful ally in balancing your hormonal health along with your general sense of well-being.

Day Five
🧹Clear your space to clear your mind🧹
This one is all about shifting the energy in your space so that you can shift the cloudiness in your mind!
Clearing clutter and letting go of stagnancy in a space can uplift the energy while creating an environment that fosters mental clarity and peace.
Let’s be real, the chaos of life can make us feel a little out of control, and this can be super overwhelming, so to clear your space, whether it be:
🧹 Tidying up
🧹Opening all the windows
🧹Lighting a candle
🧹Popping on some incense
🧹Even just a simple sweep of the floors
The act can be grounding when done intentionally, while also making it easier for you to hear your own internal thoughts.
Also, from a cycle coach perspective, de-cluttering as an act can reflect that transitional energy we feel as we leave our pre-menstruum and enter our bleed. It is the release of what we no longer need, what is stagnant, and making space for the new, fresh energy to be received.
NOTE:
Do what feels good and aligned for you. I love that we all have different ways of showing up. So when it comes to shifting the energy in your space, take a moment to feel into what you know will have the most impact for you!

Day Six
🥙Honoring your body with nourishment🥙
Let’s look after your hormonal well-being, through food.
What you choose to nourish yourself with, and the food you eat has a direct impact on your hormonal health, energy levels, and overall well-being. When you nourish your body with nutrient-rich foods you:
Support the production of your hormones like estrogen and progesterone
Help stabilise your blood sugar levels to prevent insulin spikes (TIP: Eat a protein-rich, balanced brekkie within the first hour of waking up to support this)
Give yourself a chance to fuel so you can think clearly and have the energy you need for the day
Today, choose at least ONE MEAL to pour that extra loving intention into by making it nutrient-rich and nurturing —something that fuels your energy, satisfies your hunger, and supports your well-being.
Then slow down and savor what you are eating. Appreciate the flavors and the nourishment you’re providing for your body.
Eating with intention doesn’t mean perfection—it’s about consistently giving your body the nutrients it needs to thrive. It can also create a deeper sense of connection to how your body feels and what it truly needs.

Day Seven

Simple acts of self-love, like the one you are about to do, not only soothes your nervous system but also fosters a deeper sense of connection with yourself.
Physically holding yourself can reduce stress and anxiety, while prayer and intentional words, can remind you of your inner strength and wisdom.
Let’s lean into practice:
💛Find a quiet space, where you won’t be disturbed
💛 Close your eyes and take some time to connect to your breath
💛When you are ready, wrap your arms around yourself like a big hug and hold yourself in this hug for as long as you need.

Day Eight
💗Get ready to be your own biggest supporter💗
Get ready to write, or speak words of love and support to yourself. This one is all about you being your own biggest supporter and best friend.
We often seek external validation and support, but the loving voice we need to hear is often our own. Writing or speaking words of love and support to yourself, strengthens and re-aligns your self-talk, by replacing self-criticism with compassion.
I love this task so much because it is simple, and it can do wonders for boosting our self-esteem, reminding us of our worth, and reaffirming our inner resilience.
Not sure what to write in your note, here are some hints:

I guess it would not come as a surprise to have at least one womb-related task. This one is all about us strengthening our mind-body connection and honoring this powerful energy center and creative portal of the womb.
The womb is not just a physical organ; whether we have one or not, we are all born through them, all connected to them, it’s an energetic center that holds SO MUCH wisdom and power.
So, when you nurture a connection with this space, you can:
🌀Support your cyclic health and hormones
🌀Tap into your intuitive self and your creativity
🌀 Strengthen your mind-body connection so that you feel more magnetic and capable of doing whatever you crave.
Today is simple, choose ONE thing that is going to help you carve out space for this connection.
Perhaps that looks like this:

📱Taking a break from the digital noise📱
Today you will be taking a break from the digital noise, creating space for presence and clarity.
Let this be your reminder that we spend a lot of time consuming and all that we consume has an impact on how we think, feel, and the way we show up. It often puts us in a space of over-stimulation, so even more reason to push for pause here.
Your task and your gift to self, is to disconnect (for your chosen amount of time) from screens to allow yourself to reset the mind, and to take a moment to bring your energy back to your own body.
💻How to do this:
🤍 Choose your time for the digital detox, it could be 30 mins, an hour, or an entire night. You choose. You have the control.
🤍 Get your phone out of sight, we don’t need the temptation.
🤍Find something to engage yourself with while you are offline, that is going to bring you a sense of connection and peace. (Reading, go for a walk, spend quality time with the people you love, meditate, sleep, play, literally anything at all).
This time will help you honour your needs for calm, clarity, and balance, aligning you with your inner rhythm and supporting your overall well-being. Yet another tool to use to honor your inner ecosystem. Are you picking up on the underlying theme of the 12 days of giving??

The 12 Days of Giving to Self was really a doorway—a gentle introduction to slowing the pace, tuning out the external noise, and beginning to reconnect with your inner world. These small, intentional practices help you notice what it feels like to honor your needs and create moments of presence.
BIG YES TO THIS.
The thing is though, now that you you know you are able to do this, the next step is being able to continue this honouring of self. It most likely will not look the way it has over the past 12 days and it may not be as consistent, however, the journey will continue. It has to continue. You deserve that much!
When you tune in, you’re starting to build a relationship with your inner self, you start to unravel the the wisdom encoded within, especially connected to your cyclic nature. Your cycle is like an internal compass, guiding you to deeper embodiment, self-trust, and knowing.
So lets carry this into the rest of the year. I encourage you to continue to turn down the volume on outside expectations and give yourself permission to do what you need to do for you.
Continue listening to the body’s innate wisdom through the cycle, and start to create ease and flow in your daily life.
By doing this you will be able to step into the most self-aware version of YOU.
